Gastorbar Palacio de Sofraga

We booked a late night dinner to have a solemn dinner and it was accepted. When we arrived, the indoor dining and kitchen is almost close. We were offered a table outside (terrace) which we appreciated but it's too noisy. We're given the option to stay in the bar with a few decent tables but we're not able to order a lot because the staff said the kitchen is about to close and the menu is limited, which made me wonder why would they accept the reservation if the kitchen closes early. The food is delicious and tasty so our frustration went away somehow. Great stuff!

Fantastic meal in a beautiful setting! This was the best meal we had while traveling through Spain (high praise, because we didn't have a bad meal the entire trip)! The grilled octopus was especially fantastic. If you like octopus, do not miss your chance to try this dish. We were thoroughly impressed with the quality, service, and space - well worth the price.

Beautifully appointed restaurant. Good options on the menu. I was a bit disappointed with the lamb option ( lechal cordero) is tasteless… I would have preferred a better developed lamb! However the preparation was well done. Other choices on the menu were very acceptable.

A restaurant has a very nice environment and a very nice and varied menu. Additionally there are some daily chef’s suggestions that where quite a good surprise with seasonal food. They also have a very reasonable wine menu. The staff is very kind and nice, but I have to say that I expected a little more quality from the service. But me and my wife have a very positive overall opinion and would like to go back. The cost is more than fare! 4 out of 5 stars!
